My niece Wendie is asking for prayer for her friend LaDonna. Please place my friend LaDonna on your Prayer Warriors List. She has been diagnosed with heart failure and is currently placed on a list for a heart transplant. She is recoverying at home now with the help of a home care nurse. Her faith is strong, despite also dealing with a scared 6 year old and a husband who has been laid off. Please come together in agreement to lift this situation before God.

They both are suffering with a battle with cancer, and in need of prayer.
Yesterday I learned that I had breast cancer. I am sharing this with you because if it were you I would want to know. In the next few days I will be receiving an MRI to verify that the cancer is not invasive and just in the milk ducts. Depending on the outcome of the MRI, I will get a lumpectomy or mastectomy. My next visit will be with a plastic surgeon to discuss the reconstruction phase. Either way, I will be getting two new “boobs”…they want to make sure they match. It is amazing how God positioned me to be able to learn of this disease at an early, curable stage. I am requesting that all my Christian brothers and sisters will stand in the gap for me and pray that I will be able to remain strong through this time. There is one thing that is absolutely clear to me and that is that God will receive the ultimate Glory in this and everything that I do. PLEASE...do not call my mother and discuss this with her. She is my precious gift who this year will celebrate her 87th birthday and I would like her to be spared from your well intended conversations. If you feel the need to get more information or reach out, call me...not my mother.It goes without saying that I will be a breast cancer survivor.

Please lift up Preston Loyd in your prayers. My friend's 4 1/2 year old son, Preston was backed over by accident Wed. by a riding lawn mower by his grandfather,who lifted the mower off of him. He was air lifted to Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte . They live in Mooresville , NC . This happened sometime between 6-6:30pm . After 3 surgeons, 3 hours of surgery Wed. night to stop the bleeding, it is still hour by hour. He has lost his left kidney, spleen, most of his intestines, esophagus was torn from his stomach, fracture (not know how many yet) and ribs broken. He opened his eyes Wed. night (to his mother's singing) and his head appears to be OK but still lots to be determined. The doctors say that if this would have been an adult or a larger child that he would not have made it this far. Little children's bodies can make it through major things. All major organs were damaged except heart and lungs. Such a sad situation. They are a great Christian family. Cinamon and Ashton have one other child, daughter Taylor who is 7. Friday morning update - Preston will be going into surgery this morning after 9am for them to see if the esophagus is long enough for them to reattach it to his stomach. Please pray for him that the surgery goes well and that they will be able to fix this. He needs our prayers so much! He is beginning to swell, which the doctor said would happen. God hears our prayers and will answer them. Please pray for little Preston that he pulls through this. Please pass this on to any more Prayer Warriors that you know. I will keep you updated.
